I’ve known Tina forever. We were at each other’s birthday parties when we were in elementary school. She lived a couple streets down from me (our parents still live in the same houses as then) and we went to the same schools until we graduated grade 12. It’s been 10 years since then and we met for coffee a couple months ago thanks to facebook. It was so nice to reconnect with her and meet her husband Ben. I could really see the love between them and I know they are so excited to welcome their new baby into the world. Thank you Tina and Ben! 

 It was such a beautiful day we got the chance to take a couple outside as well!

Hawaii was amazing. We stayed at a hotel right on the beach and did a ton of walking, eating and swimming. Saturday morning a hotel alarm went off at 6 am to warn us that a tsunami was to hit Honolulu at 11:35 am. I was really scared because all I could picture in my head was the tsunami that hit Thailand in 2004. It was only about 3 feet high and the warning was cancelled by 2 pm. Other than that it was a great vacation and much needed.

Back to work! I’m so excited to start shooting back outside!

I really like taking photos of babies. You just go with the flow and then the results are genuine and real.
